GetJobSoon scores your resume against the role you want and helps you close the gaps. This page says what that takes, in plain words.

What we store

  • Your account: email, name, and the college and graduation year you enter.
  • Academic details, if you add them: branch, CGPA, active backlogs, 10th and 12th percentages. They are used only to tell you which campus drives you can apply for.
  • Your resume: the file you upload and the text we read from it, plus any resume you build in the editor.
  • What we work out from it: skills, your target role, readiness scores over time, plans, and your progress.
  • What you do with the tools: coach chats, mock interview answers and feedback, aptitude attempts, applications you track.
  • Your passes and payments: plan, amount, dates and the Razorpay reference.
  • Usage events (which features you used), so we can see what works. They carry your account id, not your resume.

Who sees it

  • You. Always.
  • Your placement cell, only if you join it with a code.Joining asks for your explicit agreement. It then sees your name, your target role and your latest readiness score, plus which skills the batch as a whole most often lacks: rounded shares, and only for a skill at least five students lack, never one student's list. If you track one of its campus drives, it sees your name on that drive's list (you are told before you track). Nothing else: not your resume, academic details, email, chats or plan. You can leave from the college page at any time and it stops at once.
  • Anyone you give a card link to. If you publish a readiness card, the link shows your first name, target role, score and which skills your resume names. It never shows resume text. You can take it down any time, and publishing a new one replaces the old.
  • Nobody else. We do not sell your data or show it to employers.

Services that process it for us

Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Render (our AI service), Vercel (this website), Google (if you sign in with Google), and a language-model provider (Groq) which receives the text of your resume, your goals and your chat messages to produce scores, suggestions and replies. If email reminders are on, an email provider receives your address and the message. Payments are processed by Razorpay: when you pay, it receives your payment details directly and we never see your card or UPI details. We keep the order id, amount, plan and dates. A college's payment is handled the same way.

Your choices

  • Download everything we hold about you, as one file, from your profile.
  • Delete your account from your profile. It removes your account, your resume files and everything in the lists above, and cannot be undone. Cards you published stop working with it. Payment records are kept for accounts without your name or email.
  • Turn weekly emails and reminders off on your profile.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. We do not currently delete idle accounts automatically. If you delete your account, the data is removed from our database and storage straight away; copies in routine backups expire as the backups rotate.

What this is not

This is a plain-language description of the product, not legal advice, and it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. If you are a college and need a data-processing agreement, ask us.
